Terrible Accomodations with a nice view
One of the worst hotels I have ever stayed at. Brown water coming out of the sink faucet, tub and toilet. Front desk staff very rude. I booked the room for three consecutive days, but when I checked in they only had me booked for two nights. Bed was vey uncomfortable and the bottom bed sheet did not fit the bed. No complimentary shampoo for two out of three days.

Bodega bay getaway.
Nice & quiet location. Liked the access to the marsh trail leading to the beach. The room was large & comfortable for a family of 4 including 2 college aged kids. The hotel clerk when we checked in, however, was not very friendly & could have smiled & appear more welcoming.

Needed to get away.
My wife and I needed a little time by ourselves. This was a good site. I felt the Inn was better than a 2 star rating. Visit the Bodega Headlands on the west side of the bay. There is a beautiful view of the bay and the coast line.

This place is not to bad. I would recommended it. We got a room with a fire place. In the fireplace is a fake log. The maids were supposed to leave matches but did not. I called the front desk to have some brought to me. I was told that they would when they could get away. I finally gave up and walked to the office to get the matches. This place needs to advertise that they serve a continental breakfast. They advertise breakfast included. I was assuming a full breakfast.

We spent only one night but it was perfect both for my husband and I as for our two dogs. Close to beautiful beaches, great dining places.

The staff is friendly, although it changes constantly - in 4 days we saw at least 5 different people at the reception desk. The continental breakfast, included in the room price, is rounded out with hard boiled eggs and a waffle iron that gets a lot of use. Our room was clean, and the beds very comfortable, but the room was somewhat musty smelling, and the in-wall heater was noisy periodically. On the plus side, we had a fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. The inn is very close to an excellent fish restaurant, Lucas', which we found to be better than the more famous Tides Wharf, which is next to it. We very much enjoyed the location - an easy ride to Point Reyes, Russian River, the Bodega Head itself, and the Sonoma Wineries. It's important to keep in mind when planning activities that the weather close to the shore tends to be foggy - but if you go inland just a few miles you are likely to find bright sunshine!

For the price I thought this place would have been a lot nicer. Couldn't check in until 3!! Wanted us out at 11. Lots of broken items inside the room. Hinges, sliding glass door etc. It was a clean place. But for $250 I expected a little more.

Great view, great staff
This hotel was easy to find, right along Highway 1. It was close to everything we needed in Bodega Bay. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They gave me a list of dog friendly beaches and let me know which was were easily accessed. There could have been more supplies for us, such as towels, lotions, etc., but overall our room was quite nice. I would definitely stay here again.

We really enjoyed our stay! our room was beautiful with a nice fireplace and comfy bed and a nice view. The tv in our room didnt work but we didnt need it anyways. and we didnt get to use the hot tub because it closes so early. It should stay open till midnight!! Overall, it was a great weekend for us!

Older but very nice getaway
We had a room with a fireplace and balcony. The windsurfers and kite surfers were out on the bay. We sat and watched them for about 1 1/2 hours with a birdseye view of the bay. The bed was so comfortable. The room was beautiful and charming.

Horrible Experience
When I reserved this room --the agentld me that I was getting a King bed with a fireplace. I asked her if it was like the room in the photo on the website and she said yes. When I arrived the room looked nothing like the picture to the point I thought I was at the wrong place. There were dirty washclothes in the bathroom, hanging over the shower. When I spoke to the manager, he didn't seem to care that I was unhappy and called me a lair when I said there was a dirty washcloth in the shower. The room was dirty and the people that worked there were rude. attitude was we got your money and too bad for you if you don't like the room we give you. In the breakfast lounge I heard other guest were complaining to each other about the rooms and prices being charged for such dumpy rooms.

It was a great stay
We were in the area for a wedding so this was just an overnight stay. The accommodations, friendly staff and naturally the wonderful area made us wish our stay was much longer.

1. the descrepancy in hotel cost when checking in. Verified when checking out with a $40.00 difference. 2.Unclean towels 3 Sink plumbing broke and flooded the bath room.
