"We stayed for two nights at Hotel Bodega Tio Pepe in Jerez. After several nights in both Cadiz and Sevilla we really enjoyed our stay in this hotel. It was very central to both the shops and restaurants and only twenty minutes walk from the train station. The hotel was located right next to the cathedral and the Alcazar and is part of the bodega site which makes Tio Pepe sherry & wine. There was a small pool area upstairs on the top of the hotel and breakfast was served in the restaurant courtyard area. Although we didn’t use the pool it had a fabulous view of the cathedral next door and was very popular. We arrived early on the first day and so the reception held our bags for the day as we walked around Jerez and allowed us to check in to our room half an hour early. The bedroom was really nicely decorated and had a huge bed and a modern bathroom. There was also a fridge however unfortunately this did not keep the water cool. The breakfast was delicious and all made to order. There was a great selection of meals and the croissant/ pastry board was a definite highlight. One day we had scrambled eggs, tomato and avocado with toasts and a Spanish cooked breakfast and the other we had soft boiled eggs. It was really lovely to be sat in the courtyard which was all very well nicely designed. We would definitely go back to the hotel and the staff team were very polite, friendly and nothing was too much trouble."

"Except for buying the occasional beer from the receptionist, I didn't eat at this hotel. It didn't have a restaurant and it's continental breakfast times were not of use to me. That apart, my room and its facilities were excellent, spotlessly clean, if good size and fully functioning. Its air conditioning worked well and kept its temperature very comfortable in the prevailing outside 41C. The staff were very friendly and very willing to assist when asked. All in all, this was a great and very comfortable which fulfilled all my needs, and those of my son and partner, what stayed in an adjoining room. Good place - highly recommended!"

"We stayed for one night as a family of 4. The location of the hotel is perfect for exploring Jerez. Clean and comfortable room with comfortable bed and sofa bed. Simple breakfast was plenty to set us up for a morning of sightseeing. "

"Ubicación perfecta en pleno centro de Jerez. Eszentrico está literalmente en el corazón de la ciudad, a pocos pasos de todo lo que necesitas: bares, tiendas, lugares históricos y flamenco auténtico. Es un alojamiento tipo apartamento, lo cual resulta muy cómodo si buscas más independencia y espacio que en un hotel tradicional. Me sentí muy seguro durante toda la estancia; el edificio tiene muy buena seguridad, lo cual se agradece mucho. La piscina es una maravilla, ideal para refrescarse después de un día explorando la ciudad. Además, tienen recepción todos los días de 10 a.m. a 10 p.m., lo cual es súper útil si llegas o necesitas algo durante esas horas. En resumen: moderno, cómodo, bien ubicado y con todo lo necesario para una gran estancia en Jerez. ¡Volvería sin dudarlo!"

Great rooms, great breakfast, lovely Vermuteria for drinks whilst waiting for the kids to get ready. 10 minute walk into Jerez centre, teeming with drink and dining options. Head to Plaza Plateros and start your tapas journey through the town! "

"I liked that the apt was clean, well located and easy to access. I didn’t like that my room faced some kind of business where people appeared to be working all night, moving heavy things on the street, and talking very loudly. The apt windows are not very soundproof and two nights in a row I had trouble sleeping. "

"Stayed in Jerez for its proximity Cadiz. Cadiz was over priced. This hotel is on a small street. The room for 2 was tight but comfortable. Our train was very late arriving so we didn’t have as much time to explore Jerez. Our limited time was very enjoyable. "

The wifi very intermittent and unfortunately in our room the air conditioning was ineffective. When we left the lovely helpful lady at reception made me have fond thoughts about our stay. Perhaps it sounds strange but the human interaction is so important. We were both not there for one night."

"We had a very comfortable stay in a historic setting! Very central but quiet location! Everything is only a short walk away and there is also parking just around the corner. We were warmly welcomed but unfortunately had no time to take part in a guided visit. Next time for sure! We highly recommend to stay here!"

"Good hotel "

"The flat itself is modern with everything you would need for a comfortable stay in Jerez. It is conveniently located in the market square so you have lots of amenities around you and everywhere is walkable. The only negative is the food market sets up very early 6 days a week and that means the noise begins from 6am. If you are sleeping in the master bedroom, you will be woken up in the morning, unless you are a heavy sleeper, You are also expected to pay a late check-in fee if you arrive after 8pm, which is in the info, but still seems an unnecessary add-on."

"Had good communication before we arrived. Gave personal details via email. We arrived by train from Cadiz. And was about a 15 walk from station. Apartment very easy to find using web maps. We were given info of door codes so entry was easy. Wonderful old building, so much history. Room was fabulous with a split area between kitchen area and bedroom. Great window to view the square below. Within the area there was numerous eateries. Many of these have Flamenco on some late afternoons and evenings. Walk into town took under 10 minutes, some fabulous old streets to wander about and some great old buildings. Property had a fab roof terrace and staff were upbeat. Bed was super comfy and a great shower. Building was beautiful with an amazing personality. Lovely old stone stairs with flowers. Also sitting areas in the square in the ground floor. Would recommend and would visit again. Really enjoyed the cream sherries we tried, just awesome flavours. Cheers 😁😁"

"Loved the location and the terrace "

"Beautifully kept, immaculate, quiet and comfortable. Tucked down a quiet side street, just a few minutes from the centre, the hotel is uninspiring outside. Inside, the reception area is attractive and bright. Warmly greeted - which continued every time we entered and left (you have to leave your key). Room spotless - perhaps slightly old-fashioned but that added to its charm. Bed much more comfortable than it looked - single long pillow seemed odd but didn't cause us any problems. Slightly odd bathroom layout with bidet close and opposite toilet made it tricky to find a comfortable sitting position. A few packs of shower gel provided, but no hand soap or shampoo (we decided to buy our own). Shower worked well. No kettle or hairdryer. But the price - so cheap! Read all of the above with this in mind. We've paid many times more for rooms nowhere near as clean or spacious, or well-located. Highly recommended."
