Great location on the river, drowned out the city noises. Very central and convenient. Great price. But the kitchen was tiny, dirty and lacking in certain things, like spoons! The beds had plastic mattress covers and that would make you sweat and weren’t fitted well to the mattress so would bunch up underneath you.

Can't recommend it enough! It was so cute and clean. My friend had booked a different hostel, but she paid the cancellation fee and rebooked at Hostel Boquete after she saw my room. Check in is 1pm, but the whole staff goes to lunch then, so just be ready to be flexible. And the second night the TV and wifi was not working. But these are just minor complaints. Everyone was very helpful and friendly while the front desk was open (about 8am-8pm). My bathroom door got stuck one time and they fixed it in minutes. It was a great vacation!

Convenient, ideal for younger backpacker
Hostal Boquete has a very convenient location, overlooking the river, and walking distance from everything. The staff and owner was friendly. We just needed a place for a night. The room was simple with 2 beds and 2 little side tables. The mattress has definitely seen better days back in 1980. Please change that mattress. If you enjoy a ice cold refreshing shower in the cool Boquete mountain air, this is the place for you.

Rarely give bad reviews but this was not fun...
Room was not clean, shower had many hairs from previous clients. Bathroom sink had very strong mold smell underneath.

Excellent Location for an affordable price
My room was facing the back river and there's a balcony whìch we enjoyed very much in the evening. The hostal could use some TLC but for the price and location is worth it. The bed was comfortable and the hot shower was good.

Me gustó el precio en comparación a otros hospedajes. Lugar acogedor, y encantadora vista a El Río Calderas y La Feria de Las Flores. Hay un pequeño inconveniente con los estacionamientos, y que hay que hacer ciertas reparaciones en el lugar.

El servicio y las instalaciones estuvieron bien de acuerdo al tipo o nevel del establecimiento, la verdad estuvo acorde al.precio no se puede pedir mas. Queriamos una habitacion que solo utilizariamos para dormir ya que segun nuestra agenda pasariamos todo el dia afuera pero gracias al huracan ETA y sus estragos en Panama no pudimos salir a pasear y nuestras necesidades de espacio cambiaron tambien.

Muy bueno dentro de su categoría
Excelente ubicación (con vistas al río y la Feria de las Flores). Ideal para alguien que tenga intención de tener acceso rápido al centro de la ciudad, ya que queda en un lugar céntrico, en el que puedes desplazarte caminando a restaurantes, bares, tiendas de souvenirs y otros.

No es una opción recomendable
No cuentan con tanque de reserva de agua. Pasamos un día entero sin agua y sin solución de parte del personal. A las camas se les sienten los alambres y los sobrecamas están literalmente gastados. En el tiempo que estuve en el lugar nadie se presentó a limpiar. No hay estacionamiento seguro. Se sienten ácaros en el cuarto y se escucha el ruido de una habitación a otra. Triste experiencia, realicé una inversión que no valía ni la mitad de lo que ofrecen.
