9/10 Wonderful! (376 reviews)
Disappointing - this was not a "castle like" building. At first glance it looked pretty great (once we found it - google maps sent us across the roadway), but reception was stationed at the bar; not the reception desk. Okay... crisps were 2£ for each wee bag at the bar. The restaurant was not open for dinner on Sunday or Monday... given the VERY out of the way location we this was problematic. The king's suite only had a double bed... not even a queen. The shower didn't drain and required turning off so it didn't overflow the pan. And the heat was turned off at 9:30 (check out is 11). And while breakfast was included it was poorly cooked and there were seeds floating in the fruit salad (served in Tupperware containers). There are many much nicer places to stay in and around Inverness. This is a no.
