It's a nice hotel but no swimming pool.

It is not too far from the subway but a shuttle is provided. Sometimes you have to wait awhile. The Breakfast was not bad.

Pros: Nice assortment of free breakfast items.
Cons: Needed maintenance on sleeping room door to allow card reader to open downwards with the handle and not only upward. Very unnatural way to open door.
Location: We did not do things nearby, however, we did eat at a few places which were recommended by the hotel. They were good, but one a little pricy.
It was a noisy room due to the train running beside our room. Also wanted to mention it would be nice to have a map of Boston and surrounding area on the wall in the lobby.

Although having stayed at this Comfort Inn many times in the past,I was very disappointed this past visit. When contacting Expedia initially I had asked about extending my stay, however the person who answered was terrible, did not either understand English or was new, I then spoke to a Expedia supervisor who didn't really help eitherupset

Good hotel, but far from center of Boston

Pros: Has a free airport shuttle and good WiFi, breakfast is tasty, but the morning room can be crowded
Location: Too far from the center of Boston, only 2 restaurants within walking distance
This hotel is too far from anything, they offer a free airport shuttle, but that's all. The shuttle will take you to the JFK station, but then you are on you own. The rooms are spacious and clean, but the way the room doors close, you can hear them across the hall. When we retuned to our room in the evening, we found our room unlocked(door was ajar). The room next door was open too. We suspect the cleaning crew did not check the doors after cleaning the rooms.

Too noisy

Pros: Rooms were okay, breakfast was okay.
Cons: Supervision for youth groups.
Location: Far from the sentence but a shuttle service to underground station every half hour.
Staying with your family in a hotel with many youth groups is not a good idea. The group came home late, started banging on doors and making lots of noise.

Overpriced

Pros: The shuttle to the subway station
Location: It should be easy to reach by car. All the attractions of Boston are easily accessible by subway.
Arrived early so unable to check in, which was fine. However, the rest room off the lobby was dirty and out of towels. So informed the desk, and received a shrug. The shuttle to/from the subway was timely and an excellent touch that somewhat made up for other shortcomings. We almost felt that we were intruders at times. To be fair, one of the staff who was less than cordial was overheard telling another staff member she was quitting and could not wait to get away. Maybe our experience was colored by her unhappiness? Telephone instructions from the desk on how to reach the hotel also were wrong. He had us getting off the Interstate one exit too late, going the wrong way on Morrissey Blvd into Boston. Without a GPS it took some time and an added adventure to overcome the incorrect instructions.

Location good for conference at BCEC

Pros: convenience
Cons: the heating/cooling system did not have a nob to adjust (although I did not ask for one).
Location: I was on a business trip, just went to/from the BCEC. Bowling alley within walking distance and was told there was reciprocal use of a pool at Ramada.
Good location for any activities in or around Boston. I was there for a conference at the BCEC. The staff was very courteous, helpful and friendly. Free continental breakfast with many selections is always a good way to get the day started and the best part was they had free courtesy shuttle service to/from the convention center!
