We read the reviews of this being a tired hotel and needing attention before booking and decided to take a gamble. We were very pleasantly surprised! It is not the Ritz, but it extremely adequate for a one night stay. The room was spacious and clean, reception inviting and staff friendly. The dining was like a cattle market as so huge an area, but we loved this... took me back to my childhood and the 1980's when i used to package tour full board with parents. Great people watching! Quality of food was great and so much variety. We'd unknowingly booked half board so was grateful after a full days driving not to have the hassle of driving to and finding a restaurant for dinner. My only criticism if i had one, is not to buy the cheapest local wine. We found it to be unpleasant and fizzy, but was told it was a good wine by the local waiter??? Also a bit pricey. Breakfast was equally good for the selection and quality of food. If you want 5☆ accimodation, book a 5☆ hotel and pay the prices. If not, then this would do, I think, for most uncomplicated people. I would stay here again, not sure i would book a week or too for a beach holiday, but a stay overnight was just perfect for us!!! We stayed out of season (mid-October).

Brela is a pearl , but hotel is a little tired
Hotel needs serious renovation. I booked two rooms: standard and superior. There was no difference, even standard room was better ( in the superior everything was broken - balkony door, shower etc.). But location is perfect and the beach is amazing. Dinner at 8 pm?! Too crowded.

I found this to be a nice hotel, the hotel is somewhat older but nicely maintained. The limited-view-Ocean-View rooms do not have much ocean view due to the forest of trees blocking the Ocean view. If you are looking to have an Ocean View then one would have to book a room with un-obstructed views. For me looking that the trees was nice. The hotel back on to the beach. There is a very beautiful walkway from the hotel to the village

The inside of the hotel is beautiful and brand new, the room was really comfortable with a gorgeous view straight out to the sea. The breakfast in the morning was great! The beach is literally right there which is wonderful. The staff were very helpful and accommodating and the spa was excellent. Will return!

I have never been in any hotel that I couldn’t get tap water for dinner. When we were at the dinner I asked one of the server to get me water and was informed that the only water I could get is to buy a bottle that cost 26 Kuna (about $4.00). The management is forcing you if you are on half board and attending dinner to buy a bottle of water. Unbelievable, frustrating and disappointing.

It was in a lovely location, within short walk of Brela waterfront. Fabulously close to beach, ideal as it was so hot while I was there. Easy to purchase excursions, boat trips, and the like. Would very much highly recommend hotel especially to those planning holiday to Croatia for first time.

The room in C-building is rather "worn out", but the place around very nice. Staff are friendly, the foods in the restaurant not bad as well, we enjoyed the stay in Brela.

Nice location and beautiful beach. The hotel is quite old and the rooms are not well equipped. The beach restaurant is nice but not enough staff. The service there is very slow due to shortage of staff and the menu is very limited. Also the kitchen closes at 5:00pm which is ridiculous. The prices are definitely too high.

Hotel very close to the beach also there was a restaurant located by the beach. The only negative was that the room we have been assigned, was located by the walkway to the hotel restaurant where other guests were quite noisy

Personale i restoran var ikke så venlige som vi husker det fra vores andre 3 ophold i Marina for nogle år siden. Vi ventede på at bestille drinks unødvendigt længe nogle gange. Maden er som vanlig, men alligevel ikke, ikke så smagfuld som vi kender det fra før. Men rengørings personale og frisøren stadig meget dygtige og venlige. Det er meget rent, men dårlig comfort hvad angår senge og puder. Brela, havet og omegn superflot og sikkert besøg værd😊

This property is in an amazing location, right on the beaches of Brela surrounded by beautiful Mediterranean pines. A nice paved trail which goes for kms is great for early morning or evening walks (there are lights). The buildings themselves are showing their age with little to no renovation evident. The food is a grade above cafeteria, and when a bus tour comes through, watch out, it's every man for himself. The staff is considerate and try to make your stay pleasant, however I would not rate this as a 4⭐️ At least according to North American standards.
