Hotel has lovely facilities. Rooms were nice but nothing fancy. What makes this place is the lovely grounds, pool, and restaurant area. There are lots of lounges, both around the pool and at the beach. A pleasant walk into Stari Grad town, 10-15 mins. Buffet breakfast is wonderful. Free exercise class just OK. Hot tubs need improvement. Overall, this place is a lovely resort and I recommend it.

The room we were in was updated but the bathroom was very small. STaff was great and the location was wonderful - its an easy walk to Stari Grad which is beautiful. We loved the proximity to other beaches. Unless you want to be a resort potatoe, best to rent a car so you can explore the island. Overall, we would stay here again but choose a better room.

This is honestly one of the best hotels we have ever stayed at! We stayed for a total of six nights, and everything was excellent from beginning to end. The hotel was extremely clean, the breakfast was fantastic, and the staff were absolutely amazing. What impressed us most was that every single member of staff was always smiling, friendly, polite, and ready to help with anything we needed. You could genuinely feel that they enjoyed being there and took pride in their work, which made the atmosphere even more welcoming. The beach is just a short walk away, everything is very well maintained, and we felt completely comfortable throughout our stay. Absolutely 10/10! We highly recommend this hotel and will definitely come back. A big thank you to the entire team for making our six nights so enjoyable!

Absolut begeistert. Saubere Zimmer mit wundervoller Lage .. Pool und Meer direkt vor der Tür und das Guthaben Konzept fand ich auch super für meine paar Tage. Austern und extrem gutes Frühstücksbuffet !! Warum dieses Hotel nur 3 Sterne hat ist mir ein absolutes Rätsel. Hauptgerichte fallen etwas kleiner aus aber wow ! Absolut empfehlenswertes Hotel

Great pool and easy access to sea to swim. Breakfast buffet food was great. Easy walk into main town of stari grad with access to local buses. Evening food ok, pizzas are good, other dishes ok, not as good as food in nearby restaurants.

A quieter town in the Main Port of Hvar. Recently updated rooms, very clean, great retreat. So much to do and see without leaving the property. So many games and activities or places to rest by the pool. The Flex pay was amazing. Stari Grad quaint. I definitely will recommend this [PLACES]

Exceeded expectations. pool amazing, sea access great. hiking from property to little coves and 20min walk to town for amazing restaurants. $30 daily credit / person free amazing breakfast and soup and salad lunch was an added bonus. bikes available to hire, reception set up a car rental for us for 24hours so we could explore too. Stari grad is a perfect spot to explore Hvar away from touristy main town.

We loved our stay at the Places Hotel, the staff are super friendly and helpful, a special mention for Anna one of the waitresses, so very attentive and polite. There are plenty of sun beds available that are very comfortable, there is a no reservation rule which means there’s none of that getting up early to get a sun bed, the hotel is situated very close to the sea with a beach bar, the hotel is about a 15 to 20 minute walk into Stari Grad along a lovely promenade. I would highly recommend this hotel but I would say if you’re looking to go clubbing then Stari Grad is not for you

The staff were amazing, the pool and beach area are beautiful and the air con in the building was crispy! Quick water taxi to Stari Grad from the beach area was 2 euro and worth it. This is a great spot for a relaxing and convenient stay
