"The property owners: Chantal & Alain were very welcoming and went out of their way to be accommodating and helpful, in fact it felt more like being at home and meeting up with old friends. It was also a perfect opportunity for us to practice our poor french, with very patient teachers!! We loved Besancon and would recommend Doubs Reves for anyone that is looking for a more personalised type of B&B in a quiet location steeped in history."

"We wanted a place away from the urban area and this farm house didn’t disappointed us. It is a lovely house made of beautiful and expensive wood. We had to go through very adventurous mountain roads which we loved. Good facilities to have for a self catering location. Don’t expect a big market within few miles in the area. The owner Mr Burger who also lives next door has a very friendly and good personality."

"My group of 16 friends had an amazing week at Chateau de la Loue! Where should I start? The grounds were beautiful and so tranquil. The interior was spacious and comfortable. The huge dining room table was one of our favorite spots! All of us could easily gather together and enjoy a leisurely meal together. The outdoor dining area was also amazing and made for a beautiful place to dine, drink and enjoy the twilight hours. There was plenty of space in the kitchen for a small group to prepare...

"It's OK when you stop for a night, but not as good as many other IBIS locations we stayed. The most annoying was missing easily an underground parking before the hotel. then you need to drive around (one ways streets) to get to the parking that is very tight for a regular car."
