Good place to stay in Brockenhurst
Good place to stay in Brockenhurst. Convenient location, good food at the pub, friendly staff. Our room wasn't ready when we were told it would be at check in time which was slightly annoying. Room wasn't made up on our second day either. Sofa bed was pretty uncomfortable - it was ok for our 5 year old, but an older child or adult would have been pretty unhappy with it I think.

Only issue I have maybe Expedia or property. I booked two family sized rooms for single occupancy as I work in the room. However on arrival only one room was this style the other was a much smaller box room. Staff great food great

Brockenhurst area really lovely and the hotel nicely situated. Menu very limited and not to our taste needed more homely foods doesn’t always have to be posh food. Bed was rather uncomfortable. Brockenhurst and surrounding areas worth the visit .

This hotel was interesting. Older building, the front desk was located at the bar in the restaurant. There was a separate entrance to the rooms once you had checked in. However in attempting to leave at 7 in the morning to catch a plane, the back entrance to the parking area was blocked by a delivery truck causing us to have to walk all the way around the parking lot and then when attempting to enter through the front entrance the door was locked. Staff was very nice and helpful.

It’s in need of some TLC and a really good clean! The dust in the radiator / heater on the wall and the extractor fan is thick and as for the shower head, it is thick solid with limescale and rust. The toilet doesn’t flush properly and it’s generally in need of some maintenance.

Lovely building, lovely room but decor in room was a bit tired. Dressing table light & mirror light in en-suite not working. Friendly efficient staff, excellent food. All round a wonderful stay & would recommend to others.

Pleasant stay but no dinner 😕
Had an enjoyable stay only let down by the fact we couldn’t eat in the restaurant because we hadn’t booked a table. Weren’t told this when we were shown round at check in. Ended up with sandwiches from Tescos hardly ideal 😕

Stay somewhere else - rude staff, double charged
We visited for my birthday and paid when booking via hotels.com. When we arrived the manager requested payment and rushed us into repaying. When found we had already paid hotels.com the hotel refused a refund and made no effort in helping us and were quite frankly very rude in their response. The room was nice but would not pay full price, it was drafty and had lots of road noise with some landlord spec paint jobs. There are much nicer hotels in the area where you can stay for cheaper - even their sister pub down the road in Lymington would be a better option.
