If you’re just looking to sleep in there and nothing else then might be fine.
I found the room overall really unclean - lots of dust and hair on the floors, bin had not been emptied, the toilet hadn’t been cleaned and the floor in the bathroom was dirty. The bed linens seemed clean but wasn’t sure because of the rest of the room.
the room also stank of cigarette smoke. The covering on the bath was also hanging off.
The hallways and stairs were just very tired looking and dilapidated. Lots of stains everywhere or holes in the carpet.
The staff were lovely and helpful, and the bed was reasonably comfy.

Amazing place, definitely 5 stars. Would stay again. Loved everything about it. The food at the restaurant was the best we had in Scotland so far.
