"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The house and garden were lovely and we enjoyed the hot tub, especially on some of the cooler days. The area is beautiful and incredibly green and lush compared with the coast. Vedran was very helpful with suggestions as to what to do in the area - we thoroughly enjoyed our canoe trip and a visit to the bear sanctuary. Plitvice Lakes were stunning but very busy. I would recommend this house to anyone who enjoys being away from the crowds."

"We were only in the house to sleep after arriving late and then rushing back out to see Plitvice before it rained. We had a little trouble contacting the property manager when we first arrived to gain entrance into the home since we couldn't make a phonecall with our US phones, but we found a nice local who called for us. We liked how the house wasn't too far from the park entrance and we wish we had more time to enjoy the table on the front porch."

"The perfect place to rest and unwind, not only to see the lakes (although they're stunning) but also to lounge in the hammocks, ride bikes and enjoy the woodland. "This cabin was perfect and I'd rent it again for longer without a doubt. It was very comfortable and well-equipped and is clearly also used by the owners because it is a home from home. We used the hot tub on a cool setting at the end of a very hot day at Plitvice. This is not a place to stay if you want everything immediately to hand but there are supermarkets within 20 minutes driving distance. The bedrooms upstairs do not have air conditioning but careful use of shutters and ventilation by...
