"Welcoming guesthouse in fantastic location. Staff were friendly and helpful. The thoughtful little touches, such as free hot drinks, were great. Our room was upgraded on our arrival. It was small, clean and functional, which was all we needed. Shower was powerful. Aircon very effective even in boiling weather when we stayed. "The property needs updating. The staff were very friendly but the bathroom was not clean and had a mouldy shower curtain. The bed also had stains on the outside and the walls could do with a paint. The property was close to Amsterdam central. I wasn’t happy with the fact that behind a door in our room the next room along could see into my room so I had to keep the curtain closed at all times. It was a very strange setup. The neighbours smoked weed the entire time despite it being a non smoking hotel and the smell drifted in our room. I did complain about this. The lift also smelt. I wouldn’t rate the property as 3 star but the benefits were friendly staff and close to the centre.…""The property needs updating.
