"Another beautiful property with views and easy access to float plane launch, stores (Safeway & Walmart), and "downtown" which on Kodiak Island is very quaint House is about one mile from harbor, where there is a minimal, brewery, Nuniaq (breakfast/lunch), Henry's, Aquamarine restaurant (side-by-side), bank, info center, all near harbor and easy walking distance. Property, was roomy, clean, and allowed for parking on or off street. Overall, a very relaxing and enjoyable stay, and the owners were easy to communicate with. Great stay!"

"The home is perfect fort family and friends. Clean and comfortable. It is in a quit location . The Host is great! The Island is beautiful and has plenty to see and do. I will be back for a longer stay next year. very friendly community. Just remember the speed limit is 20 mph in town."
"Lee was very professional, kind, helpful and knowledgeable! The apartment was very clean and the bed was VERY comfortable!!! The use of the car was EXCEPTIONAL and well worth the value!!! If we ever go back to Kodiak I would rent this apartment again!"

"Such a nice room - well appointed and tastefully decorated, with a comfortable bed and a relaxing view of Near Island Channel.
The Captain’s Quarters had a dedicated parking space along the road, and a separate entrance that is clearly marked. Easy to find and easy to access (provided that a few stairs are not a limitation).
The hosts are responsive to questions sent through the Expedia app, but not invasive or otherwise bothersome.
I enjoyed my 3-night stay and would absolutely consider staying there again in the future. "

"We truly enjoyed our stay at the Catch. Stephen is a terrific host and a really nice guy. Both the views from the house and location are fantastic to see and fully immerse yourself in the beauty of Kodiak Island. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is that it was difficult for me to figure out how to unlock the door after entering the code. Thankfully i had someone in my group who could and Kodiak is safe enough that we left the door unlocked most of the time we were there "

"We loved our stay at this historic and cozy seafront home in Kodiak! The house has so much character and charm, with breathtaking views of the canal — we watched sea lions play and boats pass by every day, right from the living room. The bedding was incredibly comfortable, and the sheets and linens were top-notch — it felt like staying at a boutique hotel. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed, and all the thoughtful amenities made us feel completely at home. We can’t wait to come back and soak up these peaceful waterfront views again!"
"Lovely stay at Flying Bear.The two story townhouse was spacious, comfortable, and stocked with all the necessities for an enjoyable stay.Host was attentive and responded quickly to questions.It’s about a mile out of town, good walk on a nice day, but about 10 taxi on rainy days. Don’t use Uber or Lyft on the island, easily 3x more expensive than an old-fashioned cab.Recommend!"

"The host was very accomodating and responsive. The house has a nice arctic entry for storing gear. 2 refrigerators, and a chest freezer. Plenty of space to store food. Smart TVs in every room. And comfortable beds. Very much recommend"
