“The house was like the photos. Unfortunately, the hot tub didn’t work when we arrived, the outdoor grill wouldn’t start (and neither did the broiler in the oven), and the heat could not be increased (it was set so that it would not burn the wood floor by the kitchen sink where one of the heaters was). The manager was responsive when we reached out about the hot tub and ordered a new heat extender. When that arrived, we got 2 days of use and then it snowed. Because the extender is not……

“Casa de Carmen is the absolute perfect cabin for a getaway. The host Danny was very communicative and offered us recommendations for the area. The cabin itself was well decorated, and clean. My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed using the hot tub and driving over to Jim Thorpe to explore. The living room also has the most amazing views, perfect to match with your morning coffee. He even has records playing when you check in. A top notch experience. I would highly recommend a stay at Casa de……

“In terms of the overall experience I would give the property 4/5 stars. Isaac, the owner, was very responsive and helpful throughout the stay. Communication was a 5/5. Highlights were definitely the hot tub and the wood burning fire place. Both worked well and were very easy to set up and use. The split units heated the house nicely as well. Didn’t get a chance to use the sauna. All that being said there were a few things that took away from the experience. The property itself seemed a bit……
