Bosque del Cabo Rain Forest Lodge
4.0 star property
10.0 out of 10, Exceptional, 15 reviews
"Bosque del Cabo is a destination in itself. Overlooking the Pacific and Gulf on the Osa Peninsula it is beautifully maintained, wildlife are all around, trails are rugged and moderate, and the staff could not be more personal and helpful. Meals are delicious We had menu choices for breakfast and lunch; dinner was a communal buffet with many options. There are cookies out and cocktail appetizers. Our cabin was perfect-a thatched spacious casita with a large bathroom and lovely outdoor garden...

"If you are looking to see wildlife, this is your place! The layout of the property is wonderful. We explored the rocks just off the beach and found a tidal pool. Love that they compost and only replace towels every other day. Every person we encountered was friendly and helpful. Would go back in a heartbeat. Thank you so much!"

Romantic, treetop getaway w/ hammocks, jungle, & beach views
10.0 out of 10, Exceptional, 27 reviews
"This place is truly part of the jungle - we saw tons of bird and had monkeys, coatis and even a huge spider inside of the treehouse. We felt one with nature, while still living in a very clean and comfortable space. There were no mosquitos at night which was a pleasant surprise! When we arrived Joel greeted us with a smile and even helped us make a dinner reservation down the road at Encanta La Vida since we didn't bring much food with us. In hindsight, having less food in the cabin and eating...

Spectacular beachfront & tropical home with a shared pool, W/D, lanai, hammock
10.0 out of 10, Exceptional, 1 review
"This is a spectacular location made even more so by the kind helpful site manager Joel. Ask him about the flora or fauna or ask him to schedule a wonderful outing. We went to Corcovado by boat and highly recommend it. Stay right where you are or go for long walks. Both ways you will see so much wildlife. The houses are comfortable and well outfitted. We were surprised to see high-end cookware in the jungle. Housekeeping is excellent. Beds are comfortable. We alternated in which house we would...

LUXURY HOME, RAIN FOREST, BEACHES, OSA PENINSULA, CABO MATAPALO, CORCOVADO FORES
10.0 out of 10, Exceptional, 45 reviews
"This was an amazing space for a week away with our kids and spouses, who all live in different cities. Tranquil space with lots of options for more excitement (e.g. surfing lessons), and a constant nature show of birds, monkeys, and other wildlife. Delicious food, and friendly staff who went the extra mile (one of our daughters twisted her knee on the first day and needed a few more rides than we'd planned on). We absolutely plan on another visit, hopefully soon!"

Casa Bambu, Bamboo Rainforest Beach House
10.0 out of 10, Exceptional, 42 reviews
"Generally positive experience. The house was not as isolated as we anticipated. In fact there was a fair amount of traffic on the rough road behind. Lots of bird life - especially macaws. And lots of monkeys. The beach is not really a swimming beach because of the rocky bottom, but Matapalo beach is only about a 25 minute walk away. We stayed three nights, which was enough. The house has the basics. I’m surprised they don’t provide some basic cooking ingredients, such as cooking oil and...

Casa Linda, Bamboo Rainforest Beach House
10.0 out of 10, Exceptional, 10 reviews
"Casa Linda is quite simply a wonderful place to stay. Rustic luxury is probably the best way to describe it. It’s a beautifully designed house with a full kitchen with solar-powered refrigeration, 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. There are fans throughout the house, including inside the mosquito-netted beds. The ocean sounds and the wake-up calls of the Howler Monkeys remind you where you are every morning. The on-site manager, William, serves as local wildlife guide and will point out birds...

Casa Piña, Bamboo Rainforest Beach House
10.0 out of 10, Exceptional, 13 reviews
"Great stay! Super clean, everything we needed in a simple kitchen. Beds cozy. Wildlife all around, sliver of ocean view/sunrise and 3 min walk to swimming beach. Surf breaks up and down coast. Some traffic noise because of loud motorcycles & backfiring cars :), but mostly quiet after dark. Utilized William for tours & Leda for meals- both very talented. Used the walkie-talkie to communicate with office and for making reservations with Lapa Rios (birdwatching) & Encanta La Vida (dinner) Space for...
