“Although pleasantly rural and run by very friendly and helpful staff, this property is still a "work in progress". Spacious rustic cabin with bath and kitchen that as of May 2025 was not yet fixed up much. Access road is horribly pot-holed, bungalow door wouldn't close properly, A/C remote needed batteries, TV never did work, blinds wouldn't open, support for personal shower was broken, mattress springs gave us both backaches, etc. Reasonable price for a rustic experience, but don't expect……

“This was my fourth stay at the Aqualuz. The hotel is perfect for me, and it is right in the middle of one of my favourite parts of the world to visit. “Upon check in we discovered the apartment was full of dead flies. Maybe cleaned a few months ago, but not pre-check-in. We vacuumed the flies, and realised the vacuum cleaner absolutely stinks....like really un-usable bad. The flies soon came back, there is a problem in the kitchen (cupboard near the window) and downstairs bathroom (drain on floor) ...30/40 new flies a day. Disgusting.
