The hotel is amazing. Nice and clean but boy the check in staff, the attitude is filthy and have no professionalism. Imagine traveling for over 24hrs and was told I can’t get my room until after 5 hrs of waiting in the lobby.

Horrible place that should be avoided at all costs
It’s a very badly managed place and the staff is pretty average.Both check in and checkout was slow and people managing it looked like they had no idea what they were doing. Staff at the breakfast place barely spoke English and it was hard top even get eggs cooked off the lady in Charge of the egg station. Guests were noisy in the corridors (probably because of the Casino in the hotel). The gym is in room 706..and it actually is a guest room without the beds. Really a poor place and is to be avoided at all costs.

Poor customer service & care
1)Door key was not working, went downstairs 2 times to fix it. It took 50 min then it was door itself lock was not working. This is gross. 2) did call in morning at 8:30am to clean room, they said guy coming, no one came and we went out. When came back at 7:30, no cleaning at all. Did call twice on 0 no one one picked phone not call back. I travel worldwide and never saw such a bad service in 4-5 stars hotels like Conrad.

Beautiful hotel in the heart of Cairo . They gave us access to VIP lounge because we had to pay extra to extend our stay which was lovely. Staff is so nice and helpful

First of all the check in took more than 30 minutes even though i was checking in on 22 floor . The excutive lounge food choice wasn't to the expectation. The room cleaing wasn't good at all .. the balcony seating area was never cleaned during my stay. The key card sensor on the elevator need changing .

I made a reservation to ensure that I had a room after a very early flight arrival (5am). I called several times to confirm the late arrival, but no one answered the phones for days prior to my stay. Upon arrival I was told that because I was not there before midnight that my reservation was canceled. I asked for a refund and was told it was possible but that I needed email corporate. I’m still waiting for an email reply a week later.

Beautiful Hotel - Service and checkin nightmare
We stayed one night on August 1, 2023. What a disappointing service experience for a five star hotel. This booking was part of a 5 week trip to six countries. The service received this from the hotel was by far the worst we encountered during our approximately 35 night trip. We understand check in time was 3 PM. We first arrived at the hotel at 1 PM. We fully understood our room would likely not be ready and that was fine. We checked our bags into the concierge service and then went to a restaurant nearby. We were told to return at 3 PM and the room would be ready. We return at 3 PM. We waited approximately 20 minutes in line to speak to somebody at the front desk. By this time it is 3:20 PM so we figured the room would be ready for sure. Once we get to the desk, we found it was not. We were told to wait 10 minutes. 3:30 came and the room was not ready. We were told to wait another 15 minutes. 3:45 came and the room was not ready. We ended up not in the room until 4:40. This is completely unacceptable for a five star hotel. We were especially disappointed because we kept being told to come check back in 10 to 15 minute increments. Even if originally they had of told us not to come back until 430 or 5 PM, we would have been disappointed, but we would not have wasted our day sitting in the lobby waiting. Despite all this, nothing was offered in terms of compensation. Hotel is nice and breakfast was good, but needs better service.

The rooms and cleanliness were fantastic. Room servicing particularly good. There was a man who came to restock the bar and “take account” who was pushy and a bit rude. The food at Jayda was over cooked and inedible.

Old hotel in need of an uplift
Hotel and room was in a poor state, really in need of a renovation. Service was poor, check-in was curt without even giving direction to the lifts, how the wifi worked etc. The only bright spot was the buffet restaurant staff who really nade sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. The other issue was the wifi constantly cutting out for up to an hour at a time.

الإقامة كانت ممتازة .. الغرف (المجددة) جميلة على عكس القديمة .. الاطلالة على النيل كذلك .. البنك (للصرف) مفتوح ٢٤ ساعة طيلة ايام الاسبوع في الطابق السفلي للفندق .. اللوبي واسع ورحب .. لكن يعيبه ( السماح بالتدخين ) لذلك احياناً الرائحة غير مريحة لغير المدخنين .. الطعام جيد .. سرعة الخدمة جيدة .. ممشى الكورنيش على بعد خطوات .. والاسعار مناسبة بالمقارنة مع الفنادق من نفس التصنيف

Amazing stay
We stayed at this hotel for 5 nights in total and had a great stay. Our room and parts of the hotel were definitely a bit outdated, but I do believe they’re working on renovating the rooms so that won’t be the case in the future. The staff was fantastic and the food in the restaurants was amazing. We ate at the hotel several times and the service we received was incredible every single time and for that I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a recommendation.
