It is in a perfect location close to the pyramids and the grand museum. They have 24 hour security and make sure you are safe. "We had a wonderful 3 night stay here. Beautiful view of the pyramids, very clean, spacious, big patio with a nice breakfast, so very comfortable. The staff were absolutely exceptional. The front desk workers went above and beyond in every way possible. Carried bags, answered questions, were super friendly and helpful our entire stay. They put in so much care and effort to make sure we had everything we need, took care of finding and ordering food for us, delivered right to our door. We felt so safe and cared for being two young girls and absolutely recommend this hotel. 10/10 experience. Thank you so much! "

"Rooms were basic yet clean. But you are staying at the hotel for the amazing views of the pyramids from the rooms and their amazing roof top restaurant for breakfast. The rooftop patio is worth the stay alone. My only issue was that the online booking forums so a free 24 hour airport shuttle that is only available if you stay 2 nights. We tried booking and paying for the shuttle and no one confirmed and no one showed up. They couldn't find us a shuttle back to the airport either so we wound up using Careem. So just don't bank on the shuttle like we did."

"The Hyatt Regency is a reliable hotel that serves as a safe oasis. It is located in Cairo West, which is a bit far from Cairo proper but very convenient for seeing the Pyramids and the Grand Egyptian Museum in Giza. The staff are attentive and friendly, easily accommodating a fast check-in at 5:00 AM. The common spaces are nice, the pool is enjoyable, and we had good meals throughout our stay, including breakfast on all four days. My only minor critique involves the cafe area. It seems every man smokes in Egypt, but management should try to prevent smoking or the lingering smell of smoke in the cafe. Overall, it is a comfortable and practical choice for visiting the local monuments. You will feel secure and comfortable staying here."

"If you plan to go to the GEM and pyramids while in Cairo, this location is very convenient. Every single staff member was super friendly and went above and beyond to help. My room was clean and modern with a great view of GEM and the pyramids. The breakfast was amazing and so large that it seriously kept me full the whole day so I had to scale down the next few days just so I could try other places- great value! Just note that the surrounding street and neighborhood look a bit disheveled and are not very walkable. There is trash and stray animals, however this is typical of much of Cairo side streets and infrastructure limitations. Don’t let it dissuade you from staying on the property. I always felt the hotel itself was clean, comfortable, 10/10 trustworthy and friendly staff and an amazing value and suburb rooftop view!! I would definitely stay again. Also note that even though the GEM is across the street, you’ll still have to take an uber bc there is no safe way to cross. I never had trouble with Ubers finding the hotel to pick me up. "

"The hotel was generally clean, room was comfortable, hot water for a good shower, they made room service (which is no common in hotels in Egypt for this price), breakfast was ‘ok’, good internet connection, the staff was very friendly and helpful at every request. The view in the rooftop was great. However, one of the windows didn’t close properly so at night was difficult to sleep and the building does not have lift (service staff help to carry the luggages though)."
