Excellent Location and Great House!
The location of the house is incredible: right in front of the boardwalk with ocean views from the living area and master bedroom, a quarter mile walk to the Sea Chest, a half mile walk to Moonstone Beach Bar & Grill, and a short drive to town. My wife and preschool-age kids had an amazing time! Great hosts, as well. We would definitely come back.

As advertised
Rarely does a rental property description match the actual property. This one is an exception. It is a clean, comfortable, beautiful home in a perfect location. The house is full of useful amenities. The staff at Breen is helpful and responsive. We'll definitely be back!

Beautiful home!
We really enjoyed our stay at this wonderful waterfront home. The views were incredible, and we made good use of the outdoor deck. Comfortable furniture and roaring fireplace were conducive to relaxation. Steps from the boardwalk across the street—fantastic!

Cambria Gathering
Have stayed at the Moonstone Retreat before. Great place to unwind and enjoy a fantastic residence and view. Location is A1 and the house is fully-stocked so you can relax and enjoy Cambria.

Beautiful house
We had a fantastic time! The house is perfectly located, it was super clean, well equipped, tastefully decorated and the most important thing for us was the amazing view and the sunset! The booking and the check-in was very easy. We definitely recommend this house.

Amazing
This is a good size home. We had an elderly fellow use his walker well. Both of them could enjoy the views while the rest of us walked about. Plenty of bathrooms...lots of cooking supplies and puzzles, games....just a perfect place with "wow" views. You must stay here!!

The house was wonderful. Fully stocked and a view of the ocean that made us never want to leave. Great kitchen that had everything you would ever need. Fantastic beach access. We will be back. 😄👍

Wow!
This is a beautiful, modern house in an ideal oceanfront location. Amazing views, wonderful listening to the waves even with the windows closed. The house has been thoughtfully designed and has great amenities including heated bathroom floors. The house was clean (and my spouse is a cleanliness nut). The property manager managed our stay well. We hope to stay again.

Incredible Holiday House
What a very special Christmas for us! We loved our week long stay. Everything was just as pictured and stated. Everyone…my parents, my husband and I, my sister, and our teenager, had plenty of space and room to call our own. The living spaces were large, open, comfortable, and nicely decorated. The house is beautiful and the location is perfect. We spent time everyday walking up and down the miles of beach boardwalk directly in front of the house. We loved the tide pools and stretch of beach and all the fun we had there. We enjoyed delicious food in Cambria and in the well appointed kitchen, which had everything we needed to help us make a memorable Christmas dinner. We enjoyed ourselves at the Cambria Christmas Market and Lights, and at our Twilight Holiday tour of Hearst Castle but coming back home to enjoy this beautiful house was the best. We loved our time here and will certainly be back.

AMAZING beach house!
Found this wonderful place to stay for a friend's wedding in Cayucos. Perfect location, stunning views of ocean, nice walking trail, clean, and very comfortable. Cambria was a fun area to shop, eat, enjoy the ocean! My husband said this was my best find yet for beach houses. Thank you owner of house for opening up your house to us!

Fantastic Getaway Weekend
Fabulous contemporary home with 180 degree view of the Pacific Ocean. Couldn't be set up any better for a relaxing weekend on the Central Coast. Six Stars!

Oceanside perfection
One of the best places we've ever stayed in for a weekend get-together with family. Spacious, beautifully decorated, awesome views, well-supplied kitchen, wonderful gas fireplaces, three nice bedrooms (with the main bedroom the star), stocked with games and puzzles, and right across from the beach. Quite expensive but worth it for a special get-away. We hope to return someday!

Beautiful View and Perfect Location!
This home is one of my favorite properties I’ve stayed at EVER! The house had the most beautiful view of the ocean from morning to evening! The living room, dining room, kitchen, bonus room was roomier and nicer in person. The primary bedroom with its own fireplace and ocean view/door to the deck was such a pleasant surprise. Because it was my birthday, I got to stay in the primary bedroom. If not for that, I think my family would have probably paid off the other for that bedroom. Location was perfect with the boardwalk across the street. Perfect for an early morning or evening stroll. I highly recommend this home. I will def be back!

A front row seat to the beautiful pacific ocean.
Like being in a freshly cleaned, well equiped home with views that make you think you've gone to heaven...and a board walk that goes on for miles (bring your walking shoes).

Birthday Getaway
Overall this house was AMAZING! Awesome location and view. The pictures do not do this house justice! You will get more than expected. Only downfall was the neighbor on the corner across the way, who was strange and made us uncomfortable coming and going, but not sure if he’ll be there long since his house was for sale. I would stay there again despite the strange neighbor.

We love Cambria
We had an amazing time at Cambria. The house was perfect. No one can control the weather, but we enjoyed the beach too! I would highly recommend the house and Breen Vacation Rentals!!

A well-maintained house with great sleeping, cooking and dining facilities. Even had a special shower to accommodate surfers changing from wetsuits in the garage.

Wonderful relaxing picturesque
We celebrated a trifecta of 60th birthdays and had such an enjoyable time. Walks along the beach and viewing sunsets was very relaxing. House was clean with high quality amenities. Watching surfers from the front deck was fun. We plan to return!

Cambria Spring Break
We stayed here for 3 nights over our kids Spring Break. As others have said.. The house has amazing views, was very clean, beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The house had a lot of space as well, which my kids loved. The location next to Moonstone Beach and a couple of restaurants was also great. We would definitely stay here again if we ever return to Cambria.

A Gorgeous Large Modern Home & Location!
We just returned from our stay of 3 nights at this property in February. OMG! This house is HUGE for a 4 person family. We had more than enough room than we needed. You could easily have another two adults or kids stay in this home very comfortably. The location is right there on the beach (a road does run between the beach and home where cars sometimes park to walk on the trail or look at the view). THE VIEWS! This home has amazing views from every angle. The sunsets were lovely. There is not a ton of outdoor space on this property, but you don't really need it. The beach is right there! The main room has a very beautiful fireplace and the master bedroom also has one. The Master bath is incredible and has a very nice huge tub and separate shower. We loved this home and it was worth the extra money we spent on it.

Perfect Family Weekend Getaway
We could not have asked for a better place to stay for our quick family vacation. The house is beautiful and the location can’t be beat. We loved being able to walk up and down the beach so easily, and our favorite restaurant The Sea Chest was just up the street. My favorite activity was just sitting on the porch with a cup of coffee in the morning and listening to the waves. We would definitely come back and stay here!

Magnificent View of the Ocean
We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful oceanfront home. It was clean and well designed for us to enjoy the ocean view, especially sunsets. We ate most of our meals at the house because the kitchen was well equipped for cooking. I also appreciated the family room with the skylight.

Great location. Layout of the home was very comfortable. Could use some new outdoor furniture. Adirondack chairs made of plastic and were old and brittle. No chaise lounge chairs. Limited sunbathing space. Will rent again and again.

The house is beautiful along with the view. The only complaint is the two back bedrooms didn't have wifi or cell signal and no TV's. A wifi booster would make everyone happier.

Lovely spot with direct beach access and views
This property was as advertised and enjoys a prime position on the Cambrian coast line. Waves right in front of the house if you surf and awesome views. Kitchen was well appointed, the hob above the stove needs some light bulb replacement. Thoroughly enjoyed the stay here and would highly recommend. If you are down in Cambria over a holiday, it is wise to make dinner reservations as demand outstrips supply.
