With it being fall there are a lot of unkept walk paths. Wet leaves and pine needles all over. Walk ways need more lighting as it is very dark this time of year. Especially when it’s raining. Which is all the time.

It was very quiet over Halloween. Nice water side view. Spent a few hours at the end of the night sitting and have a couple cold ones with the boys.

Beautiful tranquil setting, very nice rooms, very comfy beds, stunning view. Breakfast, although complimentary, lacked. Adding bacon and hash brown patties would be nice. Perhaps a waffle maker?

P L is always a lovely place to stay. If I had a negative I have two wee ones. The bed pillows are way too fat and I really missed bacon at breakfast. Thanks for keeping us warm n dry.

Enjoyed the bkfst. The fish tacos contained bagged coleslaw, bottled something dressing, and canned onions, tablespoon of fish. Warning it’s bad and had been room temp expect for the batter. View and ambience good as well as waitress.

My family chose this location mainly because it was less expensive, but it was a great experience. The staff are all very friendly and helpful! We will definitely be considering the painters lodge again in the future.

This place is kind of a hot mess. Very mixed. The water view rooms in the main lodge have adjoining doors that let all the sound through with no privacy. We had to ask to be moved. And there are no drawers in the rooms so plan to live out of your suitcase. The buildings are nice, the location is awesome on the water. The rooms have limited plugs for charging - expect to be unplugging lamps. The staff was super nice though which was a plus.
