We picked Rongmin based on positive reviews on Expedia as we were planning our trip. Our overall experience was very good. The beds are firm, but we prefer a firmer bed. Bedding and towels were very clean and and of good quality. Staff were friendly and attentive.
We really enjoyed the breakfast buffet (included in our stay) with good options for both Chinese and Western food (some of the best bacon we've ever had!)
Location is quite convenient being across the street from a subway station and reasonably close to some attractions (i.e. bell tower, drum tower, Muslim quarter, west gate of the city wall).
We would definitely pick Rongmin on any future visits to Xi'an.
