Dear Aubrey,in response to your embarrassing review,I answer you that before booking a hotel, you need to find out about the various services.First of all, it is absolutely NOT specified in our descriptions that there is an elevator.Secondly, the rule to leave the room key when you leave is a rule present in many many hotels so your comment is senseless.In addition to your request, in fact, you KEPT the key for the entire stay.As for the air conditioning,we IMMEDIATELY offered to move to a room with AC but, being on the third floor, you did NOT accept.We tried to offer you the room with AC the next day as well but you NEVER answered our calls and requests (all certified and registered on Expedia).In addition to this, you "demanded" and you are very angry that we have not brought your very heavy suitcases to the room but I think this is not possible to be demanded in a 2-star hotel and especially late at night.I think you can make complaints about things that really are problems (in fact all the positive reviews confirm this) and not about requests that are absolutely nonsense and services that are absolutely NOT listed in any description.In any case, if you are used to certain services, I advise you to go to higher category hotels which certainly do not have the price of 2-star hotels.

Hello, thank you for your review.We thank you for the positive comments but we would like to point out that in the summer in Venice (and everywhere ...) there are mosquitoes.In fact, in all our rooms, there are small repellent machines available.As far as the uncomfortable bed was concerned, it would have been enough to notify the reception and, if possible, she would have been assigned another room.His "doubt" about bedbugs is absolutely unfounded and in fact we (as a precaution) do the treatment twice a year and change the mattresses very often.No customer has ever complained about this and NEVER no bedbug has been found in our Hotel.

Dearest Guest, we inform you that in our hotel, only some rooms have air conditioning and ALL rooms have a fan. For this reason, and as well specified in the information of the Hotel, it is possible to request (logically in advance) rooms with AC, with terrace, on the lower / upper floors, etc. and logically they are on request and based on availability. For this reason, it would have been sufficient to ask for it at check-in and in case it was available, a room with AC would probably have been assigned.
