"Great location to hike Devil's Kitchen, and kayak in the surrounding reservoirs. Birds nests visible from the kitchen, and master bedroom. The birds were amazing to witness in their daily routines. The backyard was a beautiful scene of pines, mountain ridges, and a collection pond with great sounds of water flowing. (The front of the cottage faced a trailer and had road noise). "

"We enjoyed our stay at Latitude 40. We were comfortable and close (less than 1 mile) to our venue. There were a number of choices for a place to eat, as well as a nearby grocery store. There were good kitchen facilities and adequate cooking supplies. The host had provided coffee and tea choices and 2 different coffee machines (including a Keurig for both coffee and tea). And the host provided a basket with a good selection of snacks. We would consider a return visit."
