Friendly staff, I believe they are in the process of upgrading their properties. Lots of new purchases, rooms need upgraded. I missed extra towels & facecloths, garbage can in the bathroom. Overall I think staff wise 10/10 and only because the bed was extremely comfy I would give a 6/10. I would stay here again. My partner found the main highway to loud all night. Parking was great, the new heat pump was amazing for muggy sleeping, my partner thinks a bigger balcony the red chairs barely fit facing the road. Better pressure for the shower. Thanks for the stay. Loved the harbour view and the location. And the generous sized room. We rented a car at the Airport and it was easy to make our way to the Hotel. Our plan is to drive around Cape Breton Island and explore. The Simon Hotel was a perfect starting point for our trip.
