"This hotel was stunning from the moment we pulled in. The Palace was lovely to walk through, the gardens were beautiful and provided may photo opportunities, and our room was pretty and had a large wardrobe to store all our clothes. I do wish we had a bigger bed as one double bed for two people was quite squishy but that was the only thing I’d change. The food in their dining room was excellent, we felt so spoiled with endless options and nothing on their menu that disappointed. Their staff were knowledgeable, happy to make recommendations of where to visit in the area and treated us like royalty from the moment they opened the doors to welcome us in. "

The grounds are enormous and one can literally lose oneself walking in nature around the golf course. There are five great restaurants on property. "Gabriela's lovely farm and orchard made our Portugal stay even better! She was so warm and friendly and welcoming, she even provided us with some complimentary groceries upon arrival, including farm-fresh eggs from her own chickens. The view was fantastic, and everything we wanted to see was so close by! Even her dogs were super friendly and welcoming, and that's saying something, because I'm not really a dog person... :) Gabriela made everything right for us during our stay with her, and we will definitely be staying with her again if we go back to Portugal."

"What a magical place! It’s like you stepped back in time when you arrive at this Quinta, surrounded by lush gardens. The woman who owns it grew up there and has so many fascinating stories to share about the house. Although it’s down a narrow gravel road, it’s easily accessible by car, Uber, and even Uber eats if you decide to order in. On the day we were without a car, were able to walk to the main road where there is a bus service to a lot of the sites in Sintra—though it was hard to leave the enchanting property. And my 8 year old son wanted me to mention that he found a lizard in the bathroom and had a lot of fun and the lizard was super cute."
