• San José is 45 miles from Cascada Azul. Notable sights like National Museum of Costa Rica should be at the top of your list while you're in town.
• About 80 miles away, Puntarenas is also a hit with wanderers. Make time to take in Puntarenas Pier while you're here. It's one of the reasons people love visiting this vibrant city.
