Car Rental District 8

There are so many adventures to be had in District 8, but head farther afield and you'll find more sightseeing magic. Grab a set of wheels and you can discover the surrounding area at your own pace. Add these fantastic destinations to your itinerary:

• You'll discover Mui Ne Sand Dunes and lots more interesting attractions in Phan Thiet. From District 8, it's 100 miles away.
• Around 75 miles away, Can Tho is also a hit with travelers. Make time to experience Cai Rang Floating Market while you're here. It's one of the reasons people love this colorful city.
• Head to Thap Ba Hot Spring Center to rediscover nature. Take a picnic to enjoy or just chill out in the fresh air. From District 8, it's 200 miles away.

If you don't hold a driver's license issued in Vietnam, then you'll likely need to get an International Driving Permit (IDP) in your home country to be allowed to rent a car. It's also important to note that if an IDP is required, it won't be valid on its own. You'll be asked to show your current license your passport and other forms of ID as well. Lastly, it's important that the credit card you used to book the rental vehicle matches the name on your driver's license and passport. Some added requirements to rent a car internationally are:

• Age restrictions: You'll need to be 25 or over in most places to rent a car. If you're younger than that, it may still be possible to rent a car but you'll have to pay a Young Driver's Surcharge. Additional restrictions may also apply to the types of vehicles available to rent.
• Driving limitations: Make sure you read the rules and regulations before you drive off the lot. Typically, you can't cross country borders, drive onto ferries or go off-roading with your rental car.
