Frigorífico is full of adventures, but don't restrict yourself to just the one place. Pick up a set of wheels and take to the road to see what's in the surrounding area. Here are a few places to choose from:

• You'll find Japanese Island and countless other amazing attractions in Cabo Frio. From Frigorífico, it's roughly 90 miles away.
• About 110 miles away, Ubatuba is also a hit with wanderers. Make sure you check out Itamambuca Beach while you're in town. It's one of the reasons people love staying a while in this thriving city.
• Make tracks to Amantikir Park to feel grounded in nature. Take a picnic to enjoy or just relax and unwind. From Frigorífico, it's about 140 miles away.

If you don't possess a driver's license issued in Brazil, then it's likely you'll need to acquire an International Driving Permit (IDP) in your place of residence in order to rent a car. You should also be aware that if you do need an IDP, it has no validity on its own. You'll need to show your current license your passport and other forms of documentation as well. Lastly, make sure the credit card you used to book the rental vehicle matches the name on your license and passport. Some other things to note to rent a car internationally are:
