Car Rental Jacagua

Jacagua has plenty to keep you busy, but don't restrict yourself to just the one place. Grab a set of wheels and hit the road to see what else awaits in the surrounding area. Here are a few ideas:

• You'll find Playa Dorada and many other interesting attractions in Puerto Plata. From Jacagua, it's around 100 miles away.
• Your next stop? Punta Cana, which is around 100 miles away. Bavaro Beach is one local highlight you won't want to miss.
• Get out into the great outdoors and inhale the fresh air at Monte Cristi National Park. It's approximately 140 miles from Jacagua.

If you don't possess a driver's license issued in Dominican Republic, then it's likely you'll need to acquire an International Driving Permit (IDP) in your place of residence in order to rent a car. You should also be aware that if you do need an IDP, it won't be valid on its own. You'll have to show your driver's license from your home country your passport and other forms of ID as well. Lastly, it's important that the credit card used to book the rental vehicle matches the name on your license and passport. Some other requirements for international car rentals are:

• Age restrictions: You'll need to be 25 or over in most countries to rent a car. If you're younger, it may still be possible to rent a car but you'll have to pay a Young Driver's Surcharge. Additional restrictions may also apply to the types of vehicles available to rent.
• Driving limitations: Make sure you read the fine print before driving away. You typically can't cross country borders, drive on ferries or on certain types of rugged terrain with a rental vehicle.
