Car Rental Lourdes

After you've visited all of the well-known sights in Lourdes, there's a lot more to discover in the surrounding region. Collect the keys to a rental car, stow your bags in the trunk and get out on the open road. We've pulled together some road trips we're confident you'll enjoy:

• Make tracks to Diamantina for an excellent sightseeing experience. Around 110 miles from Lourdes, it's home to many cool attractions like Bibiri Village.
• Why not enjoy everything on offer in Grão Mogol too? Unmissable attractions in this colorful city include Grao Mogol State Park. Grão Mogol is roughly 60 miles from Lourdes.
• Venture into nature and breathe in some fresh air at Serra do Cipo National Park. It's about 180 miles from Lourdes.

If you don't possess a driver's license issued in Brazil, then you'll likely need to acquire an International Driving Permit (IDP) in your home country to be allowed to rent a car. It's also important to note that if you do need an IDP, it won't be valid on its own. You'll need to show your current driver's license your passport and other forms of ID as well. Lastly, it's important that the credit card you used to book the rental vehicle matches the name on your driver's license and passport. Some other things to note to rent a car internationally are:

• Age restrictions: You need to be 25 or older in most places to rent a car. If you're younger, it may still be possible to rent a car but you'll have to pay a Young Driver's Surcharge. Additional restrictions may also apply to the types of vehicles you can rent.
