Car Rental Paraguai

After you've ticked off the interesting places in Paraguai, there's more to discover in the surrounding area. Pick up the keys to a rental car, stow your bags in the trunk and get out there. We've come up with some drives we're confident you'll enjoy:

• You'll find Beira-Rio Stadium and many other interesting sights in Porto Alegre. From Paraguai, it's roughly 110 miles away.
• About 120 miles away, Florianópolis is also a hit with travelers. Make time to experience Mole Beach while you're here. It's one of the reasons people love coming to this colorful city.

If you don't hold a driver's license issued in Brazil, then you may need to acquire an International Driving Permit (IDP) in your home country in order to rent a car. You should also note that if you do need an IDP, it has no validity on its own. You'll have to show your driver's license from your home country your passport and other forms of ID as well. Lastly, make sure the credit card used to book the rental matches the name on your driver's license and passport. Some added requirements to rent a car internationally are:

• Age restrictions: You need to be 25 or over in many countries to rent a car. If you're younger, it might still be possible to rent a car but you'll have to pay a Young Driver's Surcharge. Additional restrictions may also apply to the types of vehicles you can rent.
• Driving limitations: Make sure you read the fine print before driving away. With rental cars, you usually can't cross country borders, drive on ferries or go off-roading with a rental car.
