Car Rental Qiao Xi

Once you've checked out all of the well-known attractions in Qiao Xi, there's loads more to see in the surrounding region. Grab the keys to a rental car, throw your luggage in the trunk and get out on the open road. We've come up with some road trips we think you'll love:

• Taiyuan is roughly 120 miles from Qiao Xi. Popular tourist spots like Shanxi Museum deserve a place on your must-see list here.
• Your next pit stop? Consider Baoding, which is around 80 miles away. Ancient Lotus Flower Pond is one local draw card you shouldn't miss.
• Get out into the great outdoors and breathe in some fresh air at Summer Palace. You'll find it around 170 miles from Qiao Xi.

If you don't hold a driver's license issued in China, then you'll likely need to acquire an International Driving Permit (IDP) in your home country in order to rent a car. You should also be aware that if an IDP is required, it won't be valid on its own. You'll need to show your current license your passport and other forms of documentation as well. Lastly, make sure the credit card you used to book the rental matches the name on your driver's license and passport. Some other requirements to rent a car internationally are:

• Age restrictions: You need to be at least 25 in many countries to rent a car. If you're younger, it might still be possible to rent a car but you'll have to pay a Young Driver's Surcharge. Additional restrictions may also apply to what kinds of cars you can rent.
