When you've checked out all of the amazing attractions in Tropicana, there's loads more to explore in the region. Collect the keys to a rental car, toss your bags in the trunk and get on the road. We've come up with some road trips we know you'll enjoy:

• Head to Malacca City for a fun-filled sightseeing experience. Roughly 80 miles from Tropicana, it's home to loads of amazing attractions like St Paul's Church.
• Around 30 miles away, Sepang is also popular with wanderers. Set aside time to take in Sepang International Circuit while you're in town. It's one of the reasons people love this vibrant city.
• Venture into nature and breathe in some fresh air at Penang Hill. You'll find it around 180 miles from Tropicana.

If you don't possess a driver's license issued in Malaysia, then it's likely you'll need to apply for an International Driving Permit (IDP) in your home country in order to rent a car. It's also important to note that if you do need an IDP, it won't be valid on its own. You'll need to show your current driver's license your passport and other forms of ID as well. Lastly, it's important that the credit card you used to book the rental matches the name on your license and passport. Some other requirements for international car rentals are:

• Age restrictions: You need to be 25 or older in many countries to rent a car. If you're younger, it may still be possible to rent a car but you'll have to pay a Young Driver's Surcharge. Additional restrictions may also apply to what kinds of cars you can rent.
• Driving limitations: Be sure to read the rules and regulations before you drive away. Typically, you can't cross country borders, drive on ferries or go off-roading with a rental vehicle.
