There's heaps to do in Virginia, but venture farther afield and you'll find even more magic. Rent a set of wheels and you can meander around the greater area at your leisure. Add these awesome destinations to your itinerary:

• Head to Gold Coast for a fantastic sightseeing adventure. About 50 miles from Virginia, it has many inspiring sights, including Warner Bros. Movie World.
• Why not enjoy the best of Sunshine Coast too? Major tourist attractions in this vibrant city include Hastings Street. Sunshine Coast is roughly 50 miles from Virginia.
• Make tracks to Bargara Beach to rediscover nature. Take a picnic to enjoy or just relax in the fresh air. From Virginia, it's approximately 180 miles away.

If you don't have a driver's license issued in Australia, then it's likely you'll need to apply for an International Driving Permit (IDP) in your place of residence to be able to rent a car.
