Caravelle Lighthouse was erected to help guide vessels through dangerous waters. Still an important local landmark today, it's bound to have a few tales to tell about sailing successes and tragedies.
You'll be spoiled for sightseeing choice when visiting Tartane. Caravelle Lighthouse is a good place to start here, but there are lots of other worthwhile places to experience. Plage du VVF, Château Dubuc, and Plage de l'Anse l'Étang are close to the longstanding beacon and and will cap off your day nicely.
