"Hands down my favorite stay of all the places we stayed from Oviedo to Santiago. Although it's a few kilometers short of town, staying here was the best decision we made along the Camino Primitivo. The rooms are simple and perfect. The staff are gracious and generous. The view is incredible. The hotel's unlabeled wine was the best I had in Spain. I would return just to visit this lovely hotel again."

"The property is so old, traditional and lovely, it was cool like a cave during a very hot 39 degrees day. But the best about it all is Sean and Mynhardt, they're so kind, welcoming and helpful. They've even looked and found my by Correos lost luggage. They've made the best breakfast and have the most beautiful garden along the entire camino and even more so they have the most beautiful animals.
