"Peace and tranquillity for us - a quiet getaway with all modern conveniences. Basic shopping is very accessible and 3 ferry ports within easy reach. In February the most beautiful beaches of white sand were empty. Walking is a real pleasure, but maybe take a flask. So many geese, oyster catchers, lapwings. Amazing."

"Best family holiday for years. Nice touches here and there. If you arrived with nothing in the middle of the night you’d cope what with the spare/extra food and household essentials. Great to not have to be concerned about bedding or towels. Sorry we ended up with 3 towels in our laundry. Will launder and return. The views are amazing. The loch warm enough to swim in. And fish. "We loved renting this property! It was located right on a loch with many different species of birds to view and tides to watch. Unfortunately no otter sighting this time! The house was very cozy and clean-just right for two people. It was conveniently located to explore Berneray, North Uist, Benbecula, South Uist, and Eriskay. It was also convenient to several grocery stores, gas stations, and restaurants. We had great weather in April/May and enjoyed sitting out on the chairs watching over the loch during the day. We were able to meet Ian, the owner, and it was a delight talking with him. He was very responsive to any questions we had about the property before we arrived. We would definitely recommend this property!"
