dogs cats and elephants , people complaining at the front desk of being charged on credit card unauthorised . slow to help . room furniture scratched from cat - ships , tv does not work - wow never again
Very dirty rooms smelled bad like body odor. This hotel is in bad condition. I did not feel comfortable at all. Gnats flying around. Homeless people entered through the stairwell and were knocking on doors. Staff not friendly. Do not waste your money.

Never again, Coffee machine didn't work, terrible sheets, fitness center, was closed, no dinning at all, I felt unsafe,the back door was broke anyone off the street can just walk right end, Smelly hallways. Shower was great.

I’m sorry but this property is extremely dirty . It’s a great location but I wished I would have spent just a little more for the cleanliness . It smelled like urine and a complete dump . It’s quite disgusting. I have never experienced this before and would save you the trouble .

It was a nice stay. Very convenient be aus we were going to Legoland. Place had a good vibe to it. I’m a little OCD about stains so it was mostly clean but it could use a good rig and furniture cleaning.

The hotel is Ok. It’s the details not being paid attention to. No towels, paper towels, shampoo no hairdryer . Furniture needs replacing. It’s a good location 5 minutes from the beach. Bed was ok.

Maritza & from desk staff were so accommodating for our entire stay. We had to be out of our Apt for a Fumigation. They made us feel safe & @ home. Everyone was very friendly to our dog Bowie as well. We appreciated all the hospitality & friendly environment.

The property is nice. The room is not clean. There were beer tops on the floor and a blood stain on the lamp shade. The windows do not shut properly. There was no running water in the morning that we woke up.

This place is a dump. My socks are filthy from walking around in the room. Tub was dirty, keys would not work, stinky smells in the elevator. I could go on but it would only gross you out.

This place is garbage and smells like it too. Make sure you pull the bedding back to look at the disgusting beds before you decide to sleep here. There are ants everywhere and garbage everywhere. Promising on the outside, beyond terrible inside.

It was a peaceful trip to the Studio 6 hotel. All employees were very helpfull especially the pretty lady at the front desk in the morning. She was really helpful. I would recommend STUDIO 6 to all.

Property very run down. Garbage everywhere. Hot water went out while we were there and wasn’t to be fixed for several days so we left. Holes in towels. A/C and heat in room broken. Dirty rooms and common areas. Laundry facility and exercise room out of order.

I loved the room size and the layout of the room ( a good use of space). We had a uncovienance of no hot water for several days. I asked for a consideration if at least a day of computation. I did get a discount for the next two days of a 10 0/0 more than my original discount through Expedia; although, I could have maintained the same discount if I had booked several days in advance. I'm also sad that after staying several days that the only thing I think about every few days is that the front desk may be upset that I'm not there right at 11:00. I have always booked online. The can see that my intention are to stay on with my stay. Otherwise with the exception of the attitude I get then I bring my room rent. It would have been nice to know when they had a problem with hot water; it was expected to last for 2 to 3 days. I rented a room at a motel 6 near by to shower and get ready for a very important appointment. It would awesome to get that back at the very least.
If the water thing did not happen then I would say it is affordable for a long stay, like I said before the rooms are spacious and the grounds are kept up. It could use a bit of a face lift and a deep cleaning in the hall ways. Most of all I would love to see smiling faces on the other side of the counter when I pay my room rent.

There water heater went out and had no warm water for half our stay but we did get a reimbursement. They also tried to fix it but due to the holidays it couldn't happen overall great experience.

Hotless in Carlsbad
No hot water foe three days over New Years holiday. Management said boiler is broken and no one can come to look at it until jan 2. Offered a refund and to check us out. Many people like us had to stay. Not an option for us at thiis late stage of the holiday. Lots of dog owners that do not pick up dog feces so have to watch where you walk. Sheets and bedspreads stained. Hallways carppets not clean. Trashcans in hallways and outside overfilled. Smokers everywhere that leave their butts at entrance of hotel. Not a pleasant stay. Management knows about all of this and does not serm to care.

The staffs were friendly but the place conditions were awful. We didn’t have hot water, shampoo or conditioner. The area around the AC was soaked wet. The sink was clogged. It’s obviously the room was in no condition for rent. The hall way floor carpet was so dirty.
