"Picturesque hotel situated very near the beach, great local dining options and a short distance to nearby Santa Barbara. The hotel itself was gorgeous, the room was clean, the courtyard view was fabulous. The few negatives of note: first floor courtyard facing rooms have no enclosed patio, so anyone can walk up to your sliding door. The beds were not very comfortable, but that’s subjective. My biggest negative was that our shoes didn’t drain. I called the front desk and they sent someone over in a few minutes. He changed out the drain stopper and said it was fixed, but the next day it filled up again as I showered again. And yes, the drain was open. I did tell the front office staff again when we checked out, so hopefully they fix it properly for the next guests. Still a very beautiful hotel and I would definitely stay there again."
