"Only complaint is there was little to no hot water for the showers. You would have to take a shower before 6 am or after midnight. I am not sure if it was just our bungalow or widespread. The facilities were nice. Nightly entertainment was lively and fun. Guests are encouraged to participate. I would visit again. "

The pool was serviced daily, fresh towels were always available, and every detail was handled with care and professionalism.The location is excellent, close to stores in case you need anything and the beach was clean and inviting. Watching the sunset from the pool deck felt like something out of a dream. Truly magical.Special thanks to John, the owner, who was always just a text away. He was incredibly welcoming and made sure our stay was nothing short of perfect. "Casa Blanca is a gem in San Rafael del Sur. Waking up to the sound of the ocean and having such view from any bed of the house is just a soul-filling experience. The location of Casa Blanca and its proximity to Managua is very convenient. The pool is beautiful and so refreshing. Another excellent feature of this beach house is how calm and safe the ocean is to swim in right in front of the house. Byron the property manager and host was our right hand and an excellent guide to making out stay an unforgettable experience. Byron will make sure every detail is taken care of. Thank you Byron. Pierre was answering our question within minutes before and after our reservation. Fogata frente al mar, bonfire on the beach, fresh seafood delivered to the well supplied kitchen, a deep freezer, a washing machine fans, hammocks, etc were all in excellent condition. We will definitely return to Casa Blanca on our next trip to Nicaragua. "

The pool, while a great feature, does not have a heater, making it quite cold at night this could be a downside. Technology & Connectivity: 2.5/5 Two of the TVs were not functional, and the WiFi signal was weak, which can be inconvenient for guests who rely on a stable internet connection for work or entertainment. This is an area where improvements are needed. Conclusion: This home rental has great potential due to its prime location and beautiful structure. However, the lack of upkeep, outdated equipment, connectivity issues, and difficulty accessing necessities make the stay less seamless than it could be. With better maintenance and minor upgrades, this property could offer an exceptional experience. Recommended for: Guests looking for a peaceful getaway close to the beach and don't mind minor inconveniences related to maintenance and accessibility. Almost forgot to mention: GPS directions provided by the hotel are not entirely accurate, leading to potential confusion for guests. Additionally, while there is a small town nearby for basic necessities, sourcing specific items like fresh meat for a barbecue can be challenging."

"Fantastic host, staff and place. I had problems with vrbo app while booking but John Paul did an excellent job fixing ever for me. Beautiful place , views and location. Short walk down the beach to several good restaurants. We were there early in the week and the beach was almost deserted. I imagine it’s a lot busier on the weekends. Will definitely be back to visit again. "
