"We highly recommend this property to anyone visiting Siena and wanting a place near the city but not in the bustle of the centre. It's simple, but beautifully kept and faultlessly clean. The view is lovely, with the only slight downside being some noise from the main road below, but it didn't stop us sleeping even with the window open. "We loved that the hotel was on the edge of Siena, but just inside the city wall, so that we could drive right up to the hotel and park but then walk easily anywhere in the city. The hotel itself was lovely, with fantastic staff and excellent breakfast. Our room was clean, very comfortable, with nice decor. We would definitely return to the Hotel Athena - perfect for us in Siena."
