"The location of this villa is ideal if you want to separate yourselves from crowds and drink in nature and peaceful views. An absolutely perfect setting to gather with friends or family and enjoy leisurely meals while overlooking a beautiful valley. I highly recommend this place and the host. The host is quick to communicate and was a gracious host the five days we were there. Unobtrusive and but helpful. If you get that chance to stay here, do! You won't regret it."

"Our stay was made especially pleasant by the helpfulness and friendliness of the owner. He could not have been better. Because it was an old stone house the availability of electrical outlets for charging phones etc and for appliances was very limited. Perhaps the charm of an old house. "Nice house, the description is pretty accurate. Quite comfortable for 8 people. We stayed in the mid of summer; the pool was very warm. The river was also warm and good for swimming. The things to pay attention to: - during hot days A/C works to full capacity. - the closest store is 10-15 min away, not walkable - if you are uncomfortable driving steep up/down hill, and sharp turns, consider staying elsewhere. "We spent the entire month of August at this beautiful property. The house is lovely unique and has all the necessary conveniences, views of the Duoro incredible, the hosts are really helpful. The place is pretty remote and the road in is a little treacherous, so don't plan to go out at night, but staying home is delightful in this beautiful home."

"This is a beautiful location in the hills accessible to Porto. Spacious property. We appreciated the decent-sized pool, the fruit trees and the games room. Communication with the owners was excellent and Miguel was always very helpful. The property is15+ minutes walk to the train station. Bolt taxis are not expensive. So we found this worked well without hiring a car. Lovely holiday."

"Lovely breathtaking views and nice modern amenities made for a great stay. Responsive and friendly caretaker let us in and replied to questions immediately. Quite secluded and peaceful and about 25 minutes from Regua. Typical country roads to reach it required careful driving.
