Castle d'Escale is an amazing place to enjoy a vacation and explore the local areas. Right outside Girona a great place to explore for a day or two. And near the Dali museum, Monastery Montserrat, Costa Brava, the Pyrenees , and the French border. The castle itself dates back to the 11th century and is very comfortable (wish I could show you more pics. Just over an hour from Barcelona. If you are any where near a wonderful area to check out.

Nos dijo que por supuesto y cuando ya nos íbamos del hotel vino la mujer de Joan con muy malas formas a decirnos que no podíamos estar allí después del check out y que teníamos que pagar 10€ por adulto. "Una estancia agridulce. A pesar de no tener nada que decir referente a la casa (más que está en medio de la nada), todo en buen estado y cuidado. Reservamos la casa 3 familias y dió la mala suerte de que uno de los adultos de una de las familias se puso enfermo. Contactamos con ellos para ver la viabilidad de posponer la reserva (sabiendo el poco margen de aviso) pero la alternativa ofrecida no dio a mucha opción a cambio. Con ello, finalmente solo pudo ir dos de las familias y la 3a por motivos...
