The odd numbered rooms are next to the noisy train that runs multiple times a night. In hot weather you must chose between discomfort and hearing frequent trains clattering by.

The hotel is ok, staff friendy and good options inside the hotel. However, it is not so close to the old town, it takes more than 15 minutes by car. Our room fridge was not working, we informed the reception, yet it was never fixed. The rooms are ok, but not sound proof. We heard everything from the corridor, and it was pretty noisy.

It wasn’t clear when we booked this hotel that it was right next to a constantly busy main road so it was noisy all night. The food was okay. We only had breakfast there and there wasn’t a lot of choice. The staff in the breakfast area were not helpful.

It was a stop half way between the north and the south, we wanted to try somewhere new. It is completely basic, hence the price, but just off the motorway, easy to get to. Easy check-in, rooms clean. We were put into hotel de la gare (sister hotel next door)as it was better for limited mobility guests. The room and bathroom were perfect, being on the ground floor and with all the amenities needed. Breakfast was good quality and reasonably priced. The restaurant had a limited menu but was OK
