“Solid place. Excellent job running a few ACs that kept the place in the lower 70s during the day and down into the mid 60s if desired at night….on some upper 90s scorchers. Clean. Kitchen fully stocked with everything needed to cook. Perfect location for Horsetooth and all the good riding North/West/South of town. Nice little backyard patio are with a grill to hang out on, and enough space indoors to feel like you spread out, relax and hangout even with a group of 6-10. Host was prompt with……

“My husband and I were here on vacation staying at my niece’s house in Divide. My husband ended up with a collapsed lung and had to have emergency surgery and was hospitalized for a week. After he was released we wanted to stay somewhere closer to the hospital and I happened upon the gnome home. It was very cute and cozy. It was very clean and neat. The bed was comfortable and the sheets smelled clean and fresh. There were some snacks left out, which we enjoyed. I would highly recommend this……

“Cute, remodeled, everything needed if you forgot, own hot rub in a decorated shed. Extra snacks, laundry. Location perfectly located to all of the scenic spots and downtown manitou. Very small part of the house on the right side of the house. Easy quick communication with the host who lives in the property house attached. Very quiet. Must go to restaurant 2 blks down-Wines of Colorado and reserve brookside patio on the bottom. Menu is phenomenal. 2 adults would be max for this awesome vrbo. Cute……

“It was a perfect place to stay within downtown Colorado Springs! The homes in the area are beautiful and from a time before cookie cutter construction became a thing. We were also within short driving distance to anything we needed/wanted to do. The neighborhood was also very quiet too. The owners were quick to reply to any questions we had and their instructions on check-in/out were clear. We stayed in the upstairs apartment above the garage which has everything you need to feel at home. ……

“Fully equipped kitchen with everything and more. Day one woke up to deer in the woods with gorgeous view. Red Rocks venue close by and borrowed padded stadium chairs. More local trailheads 1, 2, 8 miles for excellent hikes minutes away than we could complete in our 5 day stay. Even went to downtown Denver in 30-45 min. ”

“The place was such a nice, quiet getaway with nearby trails. It was centrally located to lots of good places to eat and activities. The hot tub was a great feature to have after longs hikes. We spent the evenings on the porch playing darts or sitting on the swing.”
