“We are from MN - Colorado and Bear Cub Lodge was our first trip to the mountains with the kids, and this place took our breath away. The kids (13,15,17) explored the large area surrounding the house and would disappear for a couple hours at a time. That’s what I wanted! - To see them make an adventure out of the rocks, hilly landscape, and then come home to play some ping pong, foosball, and end the night in the hot tub. As far as a stocked kitchen - if they don’t have it, you don’t need it....

“We had a great stay here. Super clean cabin. My family of four loved this cabin as it had plenty of room for us all to sleep and play and relax. All three beds even the futon was super comfy. The water pressure in the shower was great as well. This was perfect location as we went to alamosa one day and pagosa the next. ”

“This cabin was amazing. Furnished with everything you could need. The wrap around deck provided endless views of the sunrise, sunset and wildlife around the cabin. We had deer near the cabin every morning and evening. We couldn’t keep the hummingbird feeders full either. The star gazing is amazing in the area. We love the Westcliffe area. This was our third year in a row in the area. We enjoyed walking in town to shop and eat lunch. We went to Salida, Cripple Creek, and Mt. Princeton Hot...

“Our stay at Grand Lodge was wonderful! There was plenty of room for all of us we loved the large, beautiful kitchen where we prepared and enjoyed our breakfasts and dinners. The large deck and hot tub were a great gathering spot as well. We lived the quiet setting in the pines but were close enough for trips into the activities and attractions in Colorado Springs. Great place to stay!”
