Champagny Vacations from $323

We had a wonderful experience at Maison Pic. The staff were incredibly professional and helpful without being intrusive. They also helped us identify restaurant choices in Lyon for our trip back. The room was lovely with a nice view over the interior garden. Unfortunately the weather was rainy and we did not get to enjoy the gorgeous garden as much as we wanted but it was fun seeing the chefs picking herbs in the morning! Of course the high light is the restaurant and it did not disappoint!! More than just a meal; it was an opportunity to take a break from the cacophony of the world and open all your senses to new possibilities. From the initial hand scent which actually worked as it evokes being in a quiet pine forest to the journey through the 10 course meal, it was truly an unforgettable experience. The waitstaff were professional and great fun as it was almost like watching a show and the sommelier deserved a special nod. Approachable and fun to learn from. All in all a fabulous evening and we certainly will come again when we are in this lovely and under appreciated area of France in the future.

What a find! Definitely one of the quirkiest hotels we have ever stayed in, plus secure on-site parking. The 80s décor was so much fun, from the Space Invaders carpets to the Rubik’s Cube tissue boxes. The whole vibe was fantastic, with so many fun and unusual touches. The breakfast seating area was particularly cool, with its quirky design featuring holes in the floor for your legs! We stayed over Halloween and the hotel was decorated brilliantly, which added even more to the atmosphere. We absolutely loved our stay, would highly recommend this hotel and would definitely come back again. Our only little disappointment was the lack of a kettle in the room, meaning I missed out on my much-needed morning cup of tea! A really fun and memorable place to stay!

The staff was wonderful in connecting us to a fabulous guide. The Jr Suite looks down on the square with a fabulous view. We would happily chose this hotel again.
