I've stayed at this hotel on several occasions, visiting relatives in the area. It's always been a safe, comfortable place to stay, and the staff have always been friendly and quick to help with any need. It's an older building, and it shows, but I've never had a bad stay here. They're being acquired by Wyndham and there are signs in the lobby showing the planned changes. During my most recent stay (end of January 2017) the hotel kitchen was being renovated as part of the transition, so there was no breakfast available, just a coffee station. Since my room had a mini-fridge and a microwave, I just picked up some goodies at the nearest grocery store and made my own. It's not dazzling, but if you're looking for a pleasant place to stay in a convenient location at a reasonable price, this fills the bill. Unless they raise their rates substantially, I plan to keep booking a room here when I'm passing through Charleston.

We appreciate your feedback and value your input. We apologize for the inconvenience of the breakfast area not being ready during your last visit. We are working to get that completed as soon as possible. We can ensure you our rates will still be very competitive once our renovation is completed. We look forward to your next visit.
