Could not shower without flooding the floor, poor design. Breakfast was mediocre. Location was excellent, close to everything. Furniture was in poor condition.

Charming older hotel. The staff is lovely. Alas, the rooms are quite musty and the furniture and carpeting old. The shower is updated which is nice but the glass partition allows tons of water to splash out of the shower onto the floors and on the toilet when showering. There is a nice wine and cheese hour and cookies in the evening - nice welcoming touches. You’re definitely paying for the location, though, and not the accommodations. It was nice being able to walk to everything.

The hotel staff could not be more friendly and welcoming. The rooms are quiet, bed is comfortable, and the shower head is a good height for any tall folk. Location couldn’t be better! Get ready to get your steps in exploring the surrounding neighborhoods!

I loved it central location that allowed us to walk anywhere we wanted to go. The most important thing to me was to stay in a very old and historical building with antique furnishings. The breakfast, wine in the afternoon, and cookies was also a very nice touch. I wish I could have upgraded my room to one with a nicer view but overall this is an outstanding inn.

The staff were so friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay! The location is very convenient and walkable to everything we wanted to do. The breakfast provided was ample to fuel us for our adventures with a good selection and the afternoon wine hour was a nice treat while getting ready to head back out for dinner. Highly recommend staying here.

Overall this was a nice property. The location is excellent! We were able to easily walk to restaurants and nearby attractions. The staff was very friendly and the hotel was charming. I felt that the bathroom could have been cleaned a bit better as there was hair on the floor and the countertop looked as if it hadn’t been wiped down well. Also, I would suggest updating the beds to queens instead of doubles.

We stayed at the Meeting Street Inn for a girls trip, and had a great time! We loved the charm of the Inn and would definitely come back. We all said the beds were very comfortable! My two complaints about our stay are: 1. our balcony door opened on its own (we hope) and we ended up pushing a chair up against it to keep it closed, and 2. The bathroom could have been cleaner. There were footprints on the ledge and hair in multiple places in the shower and on the sink. Nothing some Clorox wipes couldn’t fix, but still an inconvenience.

Overall, this is a fine historic inn in a prime location in the historic center of town. The only shortcomings were in our guest room. The wash basin is inconveniently in the sleeping area and the heating/AC unit is dated and quite loud. The staff is friendly and professional. Complimentary wine and charcuterie was very appreciative.

The location was perfect. It is in a great location and a walkable area. The Inn has an included light breakfast which was very good with an array of choices. The staff is excellent. They are all very helpful and welcoming. I would definitely recommend the Meeting Street Inn.

We go to Charleston at least once every year and always stay in the same area. This was our first stay at Meeting Street. It was comparable to others of the same pricepoint / type in the area, but I would choose the others because the parking is more convenient. Since we arrive by car, that is important to us. The rooms were nice, but not exceptional. Breakfast the second day included french toast (or maybe waffle?) sticks that were inedible -- but there was plenty of yogurt and granola so we didn't go hungry. We would return if the price is right, as the rooms were clean, the beds were comfortable, the staff was wonderful and the location is perfect -- but it isn't our first choice.
