Romantic 18th century cottage at plantnursery

This beautiful, historic cottage in the centre of france offers a peaceful respite from busy everyday life. It is located on the edge of a plant nursery, with its own sizable fenced off garden, where your dog can play safely. The view of the valley from the roof terrace, attached to the main bedroom, is absolutely breathtaking.

The entrance, build in the original bread oven, is right next to the small orchard, and offers the same amazing view. An ideal place to have a cup of tea in peace before you start your day.

On entering, the hallway (8m2) gives you enough space to store shoes, coats, bags or even bicycles. Attached to the hallway are the main bathroom(4m2), and the kitchen. (30m2) The kitchen is fully supplied, with a dishwasher, coffeemaker, etc, as well as an antique wood stove. The cottage comes with one full basket of wood, any more can be purchased.

Through the kitchen, you reach the spacious living room (35m2) with french doors opening out onto your own private garden (2000m2) and patio. In summer, this way also leads out to the pool. (4,5 x 0,9 mtr)

Up the stairs to the first floor are the bedrooms, and the additional bathroom(toilet only). The master bedroom (22m2) has the entrance out onto the roof terrace, giving you a spectaculair view. There are two more bedrooms, one (18m2) with an extra long double bed and the other (10m2) with two singles. All around the cottage, original details, like the centuries old woorden beams, are shown.

All around, there are acres upon acres of green pastures and woodlands. Evaux les bains, with its famous spa's, is at 10min drive. At 35 min. you will find Aubusson, fameus for its tapestry. A bit further away is Clermont Ferrand, with its chain of volcanoes. In winter you can ski at massief du Sancy. All summer you'll find brocantes everywhere.

Beautifully restored, tranquil get away, perfect for a family that's looking to relax.

Very comfortable well thought out, with everything you could need to enjoy a really relaxing break. Our hosts couldn't have been more helpful and did everything they could to ensure we made the best of our holiday, recommending things to see and events that would be of interest in the locality.
